½ cup water
½ cup dry red wine
¼cup olive oil or vegetable oil
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
2- pound flank steak
| | Directions | In a large non aluminum baking dissh, thouroughly blend all ingredients, except steak; add steak and turn to coat. Cover and marinate steak in refigerator, turning occasionally, at least 4 hours. Remove steak, reserving marinade.
Grill or broil steak until done, truning once. Meanwhile, in small saucepan, bring remaining marinade to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes. If necessary, skim fat from marinade. Serve hot marinade with steak. Makes about 8 servings. | | Notes | | |
