1 white onion, finely diced
1 pack bacon, diced
1 can petite diced tomatoes OR 2-3 diced Romas
1 Knorr chicken bouillon cube
1 serrano pepper (diced)
1 small bunch cilantro (diced)
2T minced garlic
1t cumin
1c water
Nature's Seasoning/salt/pepper
| Directions | Chop up bacon and saute in your pan until pretty much cooked. Season bacon with some salt and pepper. Add in onion and let it cook a few minutes into the bacon grease. Season with Nature's Seasoning. Add in tomatoes, cilantro, and pepper. Saute 2 to 3 more minutes. Add in cumin, garlic, bouillon cube, entire jar of beans (with juice), and 1c water. Bring to a boil and let simmer 25 to 30 minutes. | Notes | |
