-2 large mason jars (64oz)
-18 lemons (2 Sam's Bags)

-10c water
-6c. sugar | Directions | Split the vodka into the two jars. Zest 9 lemons into each jar, zest only. Close tight and put in dark place for 2-3 weeks, the longer the better ;)
Pour into clean jar, straining the zest out well...as fine strainer as you can find, even cheesecloth. I use my tea infuser and do it twice.
At this point, I use two mason jars and a carafe. I put 3c of the strained vodka into each jar, and 2c into the carafe.
Make your own simple syrup...10 cups water, 6 cups sugar...mix well and bring to boil. Divide into vodka jars/carafe! Fill them up. This should use almost all of your sugar syrup! Keep in fridge and serve over ice! | Notes | |
