| Desserts | SPs Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies (print) | Provided By: Katie | Description: Extra butter, Sea salt, and BOTH baking soda and baking powder make all the difference. This is for 10 dozen! Cut in half if you want less...but they do freeze well. (Not that I would know because the animals I live with inhale these!) | Ingredients | 2 cups salted butter softened
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups light brown sugar packed
4 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
4 large eggs
6 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons sea salt
4 cups chocolate chips (14 oz) | Directions | Preheat oven to 350°. Cream together butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs until combined. Add in baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix again. Add in flour, mix again. Mix in chocolate chips.
I make them decent sized...like ping pong ball sized. Bake until just golden. Gently set tray in counter (don't slap down) so they stay puffy. Enjoy :) Makes roughly 10 dozen | Notes | |
