Minced Garlic
1 30 oz bag of frozen cubed hash browns (southern style)
1 can Cream of Chicken
1 32 oz box Chicken Broth
1 8oz block of softened cream cheese (Do not use Fat Free, it does not melt)
8 oz bag of shredded cheddar cheese
Salt
Pepper | Directions | Sautee garlic and onion until soft, add hash browns, cream of chicken and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, add softened cubed cream cheese and a hand full of cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Stir until all cheese is melted, add more cheddar as needed for taste or to thicken. I have used anywhere from a handful to the entire bag depending on desired thickness. | Notes | Optional Garnish- Green onion, croutons, bacon bits, extra cheese, sour cream, etc. |
