Pastry for pie with a single crust (9 inches)
2/3 cup sugar
3 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 medium-sized apple pieces (like Gala, Fiji, Braeburn, Empire) peeled and cut into 1/4 inch pieces
TOPPING:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar packed
1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oatmeal
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup salted butter softened
DRIZZLE:
1/2 cup caramel drizzled | Directions | The pastry should be rolled out to fit the pan to 12 inches Fold edges inwards for a hint of an elevated crust. Mix sugar, flour as well as cinnamon into a large bowl. Add diced and peeled apples and mix. Place the apples one-by-one on the pie crust until they completely fill it.
For the topping: Mix the flour with brown sugar, oats cinnamon, butter, and flour in the bowl of. Mix thoroughly. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until apples are soft. Remove the apples from the oven and sprinkle with the caramel sauce. Cut pizza into slices , and enjoy warm Ice cream. It makes 12 servings.
