2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbs all purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella, divided
1/2 cup shredded parmesan, divided
1/3 cup shredded asiago
1/3 cup shredded provolone
2 (17.5 oz) fresh gnocchi (16oz packages work just fine) | Directions | Preheat oven to 375 and grease 9x13 casserole pan
In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrent, about a minute.
Whisk in flour, 1 tablespoon at a time. stirring constantly.
Whisk in broth and heavy cream, season with salt and pepper.
Bring mixture to simmer, reduce to low heat and quickly whisk in 1/3 cup of each cheese until melted and smooth.
Remove from heat
Add gnocchi to baking dish, pour cheese sauce over. Mix until evenly coated.
Top with remaining mozzerella and Parmesan, season with Salt and Pepper
Bake until cheese is bubbly and golden, 25-30 minutes | Notes | |
