Description: tender ribs cooked on the smoker
Ingredients
1 rack of ribs
rub of your choice
1/2 c. bbq sauce, plus more for mopping
1/4 c. apple juice
1 tbsp butter, cut into chunks

Directions
1. Remove the membrane from the ribs and pat with rub.
2. lay bone side down in smoker and cook at 225 degrees for 3 hours
3. Remove from smoker. Mix the bbq sauce, and apple juice together. Cut a large sheet of foil and lay the ribs bone side up. Pour the liquid mixture over the ribs and lay butter across the top. Wrap tightly in the foil
4. Return to smoker bone side up for 2 hours.
5. Unwrap and discard foil and juice. Put ribs back on the smoker, bone side down for 1 more hour. Mop with BBQ sauce in the last 15-20 minutes.
6. Remover from smoker, wrap tightly in foil and place in a cooler for an hour. **I mop again before putting in foil, but it is optional**
