10 oz. Oreos (about 27 cookies)
1/2 c. Butter
Filling:
6 Oz heavy cream
7 Oz milk chocolate (I use Ghirardelli milk chocolate baking bars)
1/4 c.butter
Topping:
4 or 5 chopped oreos and/or handful or chocolate chips | Directions | Blend oreos in a food processor until it's crumbs.
Melt 1/2 c butter and mix with crumbs.
Press into a fluted 4x14 rectangular tart pan (mine has removable bottom).
Freeze while making filling.
In a medium saucepan, bring the heavy cream to a boil.
Remove from heat and add 1/4 c. butter and the chocolate
Let sit 5 minutes then stir until dissolved.
Pour over crust and top with chopped oreos/chocolate chips.
Put in fridge to set. (Minimum of 2 hours, overnight is preferred) | Notes | |
