| Pork & Turkey | Sausage and potatoes (print) | Provided By: katie | Description: Comfort food at its finest :) | Ingredients | 2 packages sweet Italian sausage, cut into chunks (roughly 10 links)
1 (5lb) bag of potatoes, peeled and cubed (I use about 3/4 of bag)
1 white onion (sliced)
1 stick of butter
1 box Lipton beefy onion
1 box beef broth
couple shakes of paprika, (just enough for a little flavor)
garlic salt, onion powder and pepper to taste
| Directions | melt butter in electric skillet, fry up potatoes in skillet until outsides get browned (don't have to be fully cooked as they will continue to cook. Sprinkle paprika and both packages of beefy onion, stir to coat. Add in sausage and onion and cook until sausage is cooked through. Sprinkle garlic salt, pepper and onion powder, pour entire box of broth in skillet, cover and simmer, about 30 minutes or until potatoes taste cooked through. Potatoes will finish cooking and get nice and soft, absorbing most of the liquid. :)
