Ingredients
2# ground beef
(1) 29 oz. Can tomato sauce
(1) 29 oz. Can kidney beans ...with liquid
(1) 29 oz. Can pinto beans ....with liquid
1 c. Diced onion (1 medium onion)
1/2 c. Diced green chilis (I buy the canned)
3 medium tomatos (chopped)
1/4 c. Diced celery (1 stalk)
2 t. Cumin powder
3T. Chili powder
1 and 1/2 t. Black pepper
2 t. Salt
2 c. Water
Directions
1. Brown ground beef, drain off fat.
2. In a large pot, combine the beef plus all the remaining ingredients, and bring to a simmer over low heat.Cook, stirring every 15 minutes, for 2-3 hours.

Makes about 12 servings....but with our men, probably 2-3. Ha!

~For spicier chili, add 1/2 t. More black pepper
~For much spicier chili, add 1 t. Black pepper and 1T. Cayenne pepper.
~For a real stomach zinger, add 5 or 6 sliced jalapeno peppers to the pot, then plan on sleeping in another room the night it is served! ♥

Leftovers freeze well for many months!
