3-4 Large cans tomato sauce
2½ lbs ground beef
2 slices white bread,cubed
1½ cups white rice
2 eggs
splash milk
salt/pepper | Directions | -Preheat oven to 350
-put a layer of sauce seasoned with salt/pepper in bottom of pan
-clean peppers and pour a little sauce in bottoms of each
-mix beef, bread, eggs, rice, milk and salt/pepper in large bowl
-form in large loosly packed balls and stuff into peppers
-with handle of a spoon or ladel poke holes through meat stuffed in peppers and pour sauce through holes
- cover and bake 3-4 hours until beef is cooked through and rice is soft | Notes | |
