1 cup chopped onion
3 T. butter
3 T. flour
salt
pepper
3 cups milk
1½ cups chopped ham
1½ cups grated cheddar cheese
1 small can cream-style corn | Directions | -In large pan, cook potatoes and onion in boling water until onions are tender.
-Drain liquid except for 1 cup which remains in the pan with the potoato onion mixture
-In a small pan, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
-Add flour mixture to potoatoes and onions.
-Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles. (watch carefull to avoid mixture sticking to pan)
-add milk, ham, cheese and cream style corn.
-stir over medium heat until cheese melted. | Notes | |
