| | Desserts | | Frozen Oreo/Peanut butter cake (print) | | Provided By: Kerry | | Description: Simple frozen dessert, Jeremy's new favorite b-day cake. :) | | Ingredients | 1 box of oreos (about 32 cookies) finely crushed
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. peanut butter
7 c. vanilla ice cream, softened (about 1 and 1/3 tubs)
1 tub (8 oz) of cool whip, DO NOT THAW
6 squares Bakers semi-sweet chocolate | | Directions | Mix cookie crumbs with butter and press into bottom of 9x13 pan, freeze about 20 minutes, or until ready to use.
Microwave peanut butter for 1 min. Swirl into ice cream. Spread over oreo crust and freeze 30 min.
Microwave cool whip and chocolate squares for 1 1/2-2 minutes, until completely melted and combined, stirring at 1 min. interval.
Spread over ice cream layer and freeze a minimum of 4 hours before serving. | | Notes | | |
