1 lb sausage
8 tbsp flour
1/2 stick butter (if using Jimmy Dean Sausage- if using a fattier sausage you do not need butter)
4 cups milk
seasonings | Directions | 1) Cook biscuits according to directions
2) Cook sausage in large pot
3) As soon as sausage is brown turn heat to medium and start adding small bits of butter and add flour 1 tablespoon at a time. (DO NOT DRAIN THE SAUSGAE)
**When adding the flour continuously stir until completely blended and brown before adding next tablespoon, also add a small bit of butter right before adding each tablespoon to ensure it gets absorbed**
4) Turn heat back up and add 4 cups of milk and seasonings (black pepper, etc)
