Fried Pickle/Jalapeno slices (print)
Provided By: Kerry
Description: great on burgers or by themselves
Ingredients
Dill pickle slices
Jalapeno slices
Salt
Pepper
garlic salt
1 egg
8 ounces milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon flour
2 cups flour

** I followed these ingredients exactly the first time because I didn't know how the final product would taste, and didn't want to ruin it. In the future I will add a greater variety of spices/seasonings because the batter is good, but not very flavorful.
Directions
1. Preheat oil to 350
2. Mix the egg, milk, tablespoon of flour and worcestershire sauce together in a small bowl.
3. Mix flour and seasonings in a larger bowl.
4. Take pickle and/or jalapeno slices and pat them dry.
5. Dip slices in milk mixture, then coat in breading. Repeat to double coat.
6. Lay slices on a plate and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to let breading stick.
7. Fry until golden brown.

**When making both, pickles and jalapenos, I breaded the pickles first so as not to get jalapeno flavor into the pickles. I also fried the pickles first for the same reason.
