sour cream
bag of Real Bacon bacon bits
bunch of green onions to cut up for chives
2lb. block of Velveeta cheese | Directions | -bake potatos as usual in oven. Do not oil or salt skin. Let cool.
-I use disposable 9x13 foil pans for easy clean-up.
-Spray lightly with PAM and slice potatos (with skin on) widthwise in approx. 1/2 to 1" slices
-meantime on the stovetop cube velveeta in a sauce pan and start to melt on low. Gradually add small amounts of milk until soothe cheesy consistency is desired.
-pour cheese over potatos , and turn over gently. Put into 325 oven for approx. 30-45 min or until heated thru. Keep an eye on them so that they don't burn.
-in the meantime cut up the chives.
-take out potatos, add chives, and bacon bits to top. Serve with sour cream. | Notes | |
