Margarita Cake (print)
Provided By: Kerry
Description: Lemon cake with a margarita flavor, super easy to make.
Ingredients
Cake:
1 package lemon cake mix
1 package instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2/3 c. water
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. tequila
2 T. triple sec

** You can use the Jose Cuervo premade margarita in a bottle instead of buying individual bottles of tequila and triple sec. If you do this increase the tequila measurement a bit in the recipe and ignore the triple sec measurement.**

Glaze:
1 c. powdered sugar
1 T. tequila
1 T. triple sec
2 T. lime juice
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Grease and flour bundt pan
3. Combine all cake ingredients and beat until smooth
4. Pour into pan and cook 40-45 minutes.
5. While cake is baking mix the ingredients for the glaze.
6. Poke holes in the cake while it is still warm and spoon glaze over cake.
7. Once cake has completely cooled mix another batch of glaze (make this batch a little thicker, I use about 1.5 cups of powdered sugar in this batch) and spoon over cake.
